Meet Cynthia
CYNTHIA L. KORDYS, CTFA
With more than 26 years in the industry, I offer you an experienced professional who is competent to assist you in making life-changing financial decisions.
I am firmly committed to long-term relationships and strive to deliver exceptional client service. I listen carefully to clients’ goals, values, aspirations and concerns; based on this input, I then work attentively to help them in achieving their financial objectives.
After graduating from Smith College with a Bachelor of Arts in History, I moved to the Upper Valley and worked for a small manufacturing company. Subsequently, I began my career in financial services with a bank trust department. During my tenure there, I graduated from the American Bankers Association National Graduate Trust School and obtained the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation from the Institute for Certified Bankers. I then moved to an independent trust company where I continued to build my knowledge and experience assisting clients with their financial goals.
I’m dedicated to helping my community be a better place to live and work. I have served as President of the NH Smith College Alumnae Club from 2006 to the present and have volunteered with the 5 Colleges Book Sale to raise money for scholarships for NH and VT students of the 5 Colleges (Smith, Mt. Holyoke, Vassar, Wellesley and Simmons) from 2000 to the present, the last 4 years as Co-Chair. My community involvement has extended to my home state of Connecticut where I have volunteered for the Making Headway Foundation and served as a capital campaign and annual fair volunteer for the Norfield Congregational Church. Professionally, I served as President of the Connecticut Valley Estate Planning Council and have been a member since 1997. Additionally, I have served as the local Chamber of Commerce contact.
In my spare time, I enjoy vegetable gardening, fishing, reading, Red Sox baseball, model railroading and spending time with family and friends.
